Angle protractor, uncapped 3D import, translated PDF

This update makes angles easier to enter, lifts the cap on 3D import and makes the cutting plan PDF complete in every interface language.

Angle protractor

  • In the cut list, clicking a miter or bevel angle opens a protractor: the handle drags in half-degree steps, the tube preview follows live, and the “Common angles” 22.5°, 30°, 45°, 60° and 90° apply in one click. Keyboard entry still works.
  • “Copy to a new part” inserts a row right below with the same angles, bevels, profile, length and quantity.

3D import

  • No more cap on the number of files or parts imported, with or without an account.
  • Automatic recognition no longer makes up a profile: a part shorter than 100 mm is no longer taken for a profile, and a part that no catalog size comes close to is no longer given the family’s first size by default.
  • “Recognised parts” now lists only the parts that were recognized or that you picked yourself.

Cutting plan PDF

  • Dimensions, part marks and angles, which could be missing from the PDF while showing on screen, now appear in it.
  • The PDF follows the chosen language (French, English, German or Spanish), numbers and date included. Labels in the Bar nesting and 3D import tables that had stayed in French are translated too.
