The application now opens on a question, “What do you want to do today?”. This update also adds German and Spanish, and the Bar nesting screen puts the result first.
Home screen and dashboard
- Three starting points, “3D import”, “Bar nesting” and “2D nesting”, then your recent projects. On your first visit, the “Welcome to Cut-Fab” screen adds help for choosing, “Not sure which one to pick?”.
- The “Project dashboard” shows the share of validated parts, flags the ones to correct and opens a side panel to fix them, down to “Validate part”.
German and Spanish
- The selector at the top of the screen offers FR, EN, DE and ES; on your first visit, the application uses your browser’s language.
Bar nesting
- “Optimise bar nesting” gives a verdict, from “Good optimisation” to “Optimisation needs review”, based on the share of offcuts too short to reuse.
- The material summary compares “Stock”, “Required” and “To buy”; less common settings are folded into “Advanced settings”.
- The workshop sheet (button “Fiche atelier”) shows the cutting bar by bar in large type for the saw station, and prints on its own.
Entering profiles
- The “Standard profiles” button offers common families and their sizes; for hollow tubes, common wall thicknesses appear under each size.
- “New part” reuses the profile of the last row, and 3D import adds the detected wall thickness to hollow tubes, rounded to the nearest common thickness, for example “Tube 40x40x3”.
