Part sheet and 3D view on click, lists filled from the keyboard

Since the evening of October 19, “Bar nesting” offers two conveniences: seeing a part in detail without leaving the cutting plan, and filling in lists without leaving the keyboard.

A part in detail, in one click

  • Click a part in a bar drawing, whatever the view: a window opens with its sheet from the per-part report on the left and its rotatable 3D view on the right.
  • The sheet shows the bottom, front and top views, the dimensioned section and the hidden edges; the 3D view turns with the mouse, with the 3/4, Iso, Top, Bottom and Front views.
  • From the keyboard, the part mark of each piece in the “Cut list” opens the same window; Escape closes it.
  • The per-part report now has a single sheet per cut part: a piece laid reversed on the bar no longer creates a second one.

Lists from the keyboard

  • In the cut parts, the stock bars and the nesting blanks, Enter moves to the next row in the same column, and Shift + Enter moves up one row.
  • Enter on the last row, or Tab on its last field, adds a row; the cursor lands on the first field to fill in, the length for a cut part.
  • “New part” also puts the cursor on the length of the new row, and these keys are listed under each list.

The calculation, the cutting plan and the exports do not change.
