Since the evening of October 16, “Bar nesting” prints labels to stick on each piece. The “Labels” button sits next to “Fiche atelier” (workshop sheet), in the cutting plan toolbar.
What each label carries
- One label per piece to cut: part mark, length, cuts at both ends, profile, bar number and position in the bar, project name.
- A QR code holding the same text in plain form: any phone can read it, offline.
- Cuts are written the same way as on the workshop sheet: a given cut is never described in two different ways.
Four formats
- “A4 sheet of 24 labels (70 × 37 mm)” and “A4 sheet of 21 labels (70 × 42.3 mm)”, with “Start at label no.” to finish a partly used sheet.
- 62 × 29 mm and 100 × 50 mm rolls, for label printers or thermal printers.
- The last format you chose is remembered in this browser; “Download PDF” produces the file to print.
Like the workshop sheet, labels are open to everyone, with or without an account.
