Picking a project back up took one extra click: the home screen came up before the dashboard. Since September 24, when you open the application, a project that already contains cut parts or sheet metal parts opens on its “Project dashboard”. An empty project stays on “Home”; since September 28, so does a first-time visitor, whose project no longer comes with sample cut parts.
Your project steps in view
- As soon as the project contains a part, the “STEP import” (or “Parts entered”), “Verification”, “Bar nesting” and “Export” steps appear on every project screen, not just on the dashboard. Completed steps are checked off, and each one takes you to the matching screen in one click.
- If the “Parts” panel has more than three rows and a profile has no dedicated bar, the button that creates the missing bars (“Create a … bar”) also appears at the top of the panel, not only at the bottom.
- In “3D import”, the parts of the example (“Or load an example”) no longer pile up in the same spot: all of them are visible as soon as it loads. Mouse shortcuts are tucked away under “3D view controls”.
- The “Quote (AI)” entry only appears in the menu once you are signed in, instead of staying grayed out.
These changes apply to everyone, with or without an account.
