From the design office to the cutting table<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

One STEP assembly, and every part comes out ready to cut.<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

You drop in the file from the design office. Profiles are recognised, measured and listed with both of their cut angles. The sheet metal parts, for their part, are unfolded<\/a> : you get back the dimensioned flat blank<\/strong>, with its bend lines, its holes and its radius, as a DXF ready for cutting \u2014 and each blank\u2019s part mark points back to its place on the frame.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The file is read and displayed in your browser. Unfolding, however, runs on our servers: that step needs a connection. The sheet metal management<\/strong> that then arranges those blanks into your sheet sizes is, itself, still in development.<\/p>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

A cut list becomes a cutting plan, bar by bar. Paired miter cuts<\/strong> (two mitred pieces sharing a single saw kerf) and minimising angle changes reduce both the metal lost and the time spent resetting the cut-off saw. Offcuts long enough to serve again are listed separately, ready to be fed back into a later calculation.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Placing sheet metal parts into your sheet sizes, with interlocking and edge margin, then producing the cutting DXF: this module is still being built<\/strong>. It runs, you can try it, but we do not yet sell it as a production tool \u2014 and we would rather write that here than let you find out. Unfolding, on the other hand, already produces usable blanks.<\/p>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

15 cut parts, 2 bars, 96.3% of the material used<\/strong>. The 45\u00b0 miters of P2 and P3 are cut head to tail: a single saw kerf per joint, 80 mm of tube saved on that profile alone. The plan goes out as PDF for the workshop and DXF for the machine.<\/p>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The calculation runs in your browser, not in a data centre. Fibre cut, router down, site with no coverage: the cutting still gets done, and it stays on the machine.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
